Data-based Content Creator and Brand Pilot

A creative that’s both right and left brained. A data-driven content writer, video producer, and PR professional that believes in the power of relevance and resonance to create brand narratives that can persuade and influence. A perpetual, work-in-progress student of marketing communications, my experience encompasses client management, strategy, conceptualization, and taking IMC contents to the finish line from concept to deployment. 

My 10+ years of experience in journalism, PR, advertising, content and event marketing, and account servicing has culminated in my ability to navigate with ease, the myriad challenges of working with multiple stakeholders with wildly different personalities.  

As an integrated marketing communications professional and content creator, I’ve been fortunate to gain experience in a range of products and services offered by both B2B and B2C companies.

In my free time, I enjoy writing short stories, screenplays, and working on a stand up comedy routine I’ll likely never perform in public.

 

Snapshot

Most recently, I managed the Content Marketing and PR (product, investor relations, corporate) teams for GAMEVIL Com2us, one of the largest mobile game publishing and development companies in the world. My scope of work extended to conceptualization, planning, and producing live Esports events and broadcasts, including media day events for new launch titles.

On a more granular level, my work on Esports events and LIVE broadcasts involved developing the full roadmap including:

  • The Run-of-Show

  • Production design

  • Designing the venue floorplan

  • Developing and managing a master list of design/branding assets

  • Supervising the production work-back schedule

  • Art directing graphics packages for the live broadcast, pre and post-event video content across all social media channels such as Facebook, YouTube, and Twitch.

Once the team got up and running, we really ramped up our content output which resulted in quadrupling our viewership, fan sentiment and engagement on YouTube and Facebook and increasing our consolidated social media footprint by over 30% in just under a year.

For added context, about 7 months after joining the company to head consumer, corporate and investor relations PR, I aggressively pushed for and successfully formed a digital content team as I felt this was an area that was sorely lacking. Style of Play

I’m adaptable and agile when it comes to ad-hoc tasks and able to anticipate potential roadblocks that may bottleneck progress. I’m relentless in my pursuit of finding solutions to marketing problems by consolidating feedback across all teams from product marketing, business development, customer service to C-level leadership and delivering an actionable plan that all teams can .

It’s essential for any experienced IMC and PR professional to understand a company’s business objectives and goals first and foremost.

Then to understand its key target base and download and digest the needs of the key decision makers and stakeholders in order to create an action plan within set budgets.

In closing, I have a real passion for lifestyle trends, pop culture, entertainment and social media platforms and I believe I can help form a brand narrative for any brand in any industry space that’ll not only resonate with its current and existing fans, but also help it acquire new ones and foster brand loyalty.
