A creative that’s both right and left brained. A data-driven content writer, video producer, and PR professional that believes in the power of relevance and resonance to create brand narratives that can persuade and influence. A perpetual, work-in-progress student of marketing communications, my experience encompasses client management, strategy, conceptualization, and taking IMC contents to the finish line. 

My 10+ years of experience in journalism, PR, advertising, content and event marketing, and account servicing has culminated in my ability to navigate with ease, the myriad challenges of working with multiple stakeholders with wildly different personalities.  

As an integrated marketing communications professional, I’ve been fortunate to gain experience in a range of products and services offered by both B2B and B2C companies.

In my free time, I enjoy writing short stories, screenplays, and working on a stand up comedy routine I’ll likely never perform in public.


recent achievements

Most recently, I managed the Content Marketing and PR (product, investor relations, corporate) teams for GAMEVIL Com2us, one of the largest mobile game publishing and development companies in the world. My scope of work extended to conceptualization, planning, and producing live Esports events and broadcasts, including media day events for new launch titles.

Since joining the team, Kouri has been instrumental in enhancing the brand equity and media and consumer awareness of GAMEVIL Com2us in the mobile gaming space. The success of our Esports initiatives, from our first foray into live events to where we are now, can be attributed to his contribution and vision.

On a more granular level, my work on Esports events and LIVE broadcasts involved managing a $3.2 million production budget and developing the full roadmap which included:

  • The Run-of-Show

  • Production design

  • Designing the venue floorplan

  • Developing and managing a master list of design/branding assets

  • Supervising the production work-back schedule

  • Art directing graphics packages for the live broadcast, pre and post-event video content across all social media channels such as Facebook, YouTube, and Twitch.

Once the team got up and running, we ramped up our content output which resulted in a 30% surge in our social media reach, a three-fold increase in video content viewership, and a 13% increase in media coverage in just under a year.

Within 7 months of joining the company to head consumer, corporate and investor relations PR, I aggressively advocated for the formation of a digital content team as I believed video content was essential in increasing earned media coverage and community engagement. Once the team got up and running, we ramped up our content output which resulted in a 30% surge in our social media reach, a three-fold increase in video content viewership, and a 13% increase in media coverage in just under a year.

Adaptable and agile when it comes to ad-hoc tasks. Able to anticipate and identify potential roadblocks that may bottleneck progress. In finding swift solutions to marketing problems, I advise and consult with associate level team members and begin a team-wide internal communications push to coordinate and consolidate feedback across all external teams from product marketing, design, business development, customer service, to C-level leadership in order to develop an actionable plan that everyone can rally behind.
